Chanakya is the Managing Director of Saptanga Advisory - an ESG policy consulting firm. A government affairs professional with a decade of experience in parliamentary policy design, focusing on finance, education and Climate. As a London-based analyst in Green Alliance, he advised the British Policy on Carbon Capture and storage (CCS) and zero-emission aviation.

He has previously worked with the Commonwealth Secretariat, the World Bank and various private organisations. He holds a BA in Economics (Honours) from Delhi University and a Masters in Public Policy from the London School of Economics (LSE).
 

He is on the board of Nilgiri Education and Development Associates as Director of CSR and Policy. In 2015, Chanakya founded TribeAisle (a social enterprise) to empower tribal artisans in Central India, for which he has received several awards, including recognition from SIPA, Columbia University. Chanakya is also an acclaimed painter and his work has received appreciation at exhibitions in New Delhi, London, New York and Helsinki.
